We are retained as an exclusive executive search partner for a the Deputy Head of Bid Management role to be based in Dubai, UAE.
Responsibilities:
- Create bid proposal documents, standard templates and responses
- Liaise, interact & manage relations with internal stakeholders for closing the proposal requirement
- Ensure continuous improvement in quality of bids with the help of feedback received from stakeholders
- Prepare effective responses to RFP (Request For Proposal). Ensure all the requirements of the RFP are adhered to in the responses
- Coordinate with different departments and gather inputs for responses. Draft the responses and ensure the content is well crafted and professionally laid out without any errors in grammar or style
- Prepare the annual Business Development Plan (proposed way forward) in alignment to regional/company’ plan.
- Analyse business needs to identify new opportunities over and above the present core businesses.
- Understand the customer’ requirements and map the same to the existing offerings of the organization
- Drive bid/tender documentation with other department’s stakeholders.
- Efficiently manage the sales process: Lead generation; credentials pitch; asking questions; solution pitch; negotiation; close; handover to the account management team
- Create & execute the business plan starting with key markets of India, UAE, KSA and UK.
- Set up of the fulfilment structure to manage the business & complete responsibility for this function.
- Recruitment and training of the key members of the team across functions
- Create the sales pipeline and manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closure along with the sales team.
- Create the fulfilment process including SLAs and drive achievement of the same.
- Work closely with the Bid writing team on Bid responses for tenders related to Visa Concierge services.
- Work closely with the operations to be able to leverage synergies on Value added services and create product bundles that can be sold to customers of Concierge Services to maximize revenue per customer.
- Management reporting as required.
- Cost control and ensuring delivery of operating costs as per budget.
- Work closely with the Technology team to implement tech products and improve the customer experience through enhancements in the tech platform.
- Travel requirement - 20-30% short-term traveling required
Requirements:
- Minimum: Post-graduate diploma/ degree in business management or equivalent
- Experience: 8- 10 years of relevant work experience in Bid Management
- Preferable experience working in travel, hospitality and creating bids to diplomatic missions, visa concierge services
- Flair for sales, management and cross collaboration among departments.

- Ability to work with cross functional teams
- Business acumen and understanding of customer behaviour
- Experience in setting up of new ventures would be considered as an added advantage.
Location: This role is to be based in Dubai, UAE.
